I've been doing a bunch of work with Apache and XSL lately, and I'm quite pleased with how things are going. As to the future of nexista, I see it evolving as a companion to a web application server. It is quite possible that the sitemap could be parsed and leveraged in some way by mod_rewrite, mod_transform, and mod_dbd to achieve some of the same things as nexista and php do together. Something to think about...
